Sun’s Town Planning provides a Full Planning Permit Service, managing your application from initial planning review and preparation through to lodgement and Council assessment.
We act as your planning consultant throughout the process, providing practical advice, preparing the required planning documentation and liaising with Council on your behalf.
We Manage the Planning Process
Planning applications can involve more than simply lodging plans with Council. Planning controls need to be identified, the proposal needs to be properly justified, and issues raised during Council's assessment may need to be addressed.
Our Full Planning Permit Service provides ongoing planning assistance throughout the application, allowing your architect or designer to focus on the design while we manage the planning process and communication with Council.
Where other specialist consultants are required, we can also assist in coordinating the planning response and documentation.

Initial Planning Assessment
Review of the site, proposal, relevant zones, overlays, planning policies and permit requirements.
Planning Report & Application
Preparation of the planning assessment, supporting planning report and application documentation.
Application Lodgement
Preparation and lodgement of the planning permit application with the relevant Council.
Council Liaison
Communication with the Council planner and ongoing monitoring of the application during assessment.
RFI & Application Support
Review of Council Requests for Further Information and coordination of planning responses and amendments where required.
Council Assessment
Planning assistance through the assessment process, including advertising and planning issues raised by Council where applicable.
Council fees, architectural revisions and specialist consultant costs are excluded unless otherwise stated in our fee proposal.
